Whats In The Photo:

Detail from Landsat satellite image taken on August 15, 2001, centered on Berner's Bay. Sediment-laden glacial meltwaters fill the bay and stream northward in Lynn Canal (left). Waste rock and tailings for the proposed Kensington / Jualin gold-mining complex would fill an existing lake on the peninsula between the bay and the canal (the southernmost, and largest, of the four dark spots seen on the peninsula near top center).
