Photograph showing a frozen "waterfall" of waste drilling fluids, caused by a spill from a natural gas drilling site in the Piceance Basin of western Colorado (near the town of Rifle and the Roan Plateau). Photo from the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, apparently taken on February 20, 2008. Spill is in Garden Gulch, a tributary to West Parachute Creek.
