Whats In The Photo:Detail from Landsat satellite image showing area around the city of Rawlins in central Wyoming. BLM recently (March 2005)estimated natural gas drilling could directly impact 57,000 acres of public land in the Red Desert / Great Divide Basin west of Rawlins. Black box covers an area of 57,000 acres for illustration; box is about 9.4 miles on a side.
