Whats In The Photo:3D perspective view looking towards the west-southwest, showing the Jonah natural gas field as it appeared in 1986. Paved highway 191 is dark gray line running along the bottom. A dirt road (pale line) leads to a single well pad (triangular, pale gray spot) just right of center in the foreground. Other dirt roads run along the top (BLM 5410) and left side (BLM 5409) of the image. Arid sagebrush and grasslands are shades of reddish brown to blue-gray; barren badlands are nearly white. Scale varies in this perspective image. Foreground is 7 miles across. Landsat satellite image combined with digital elevation data.
