Two dirt roads (pale lines) are visible, BLM 5409 running across the bottom of the image, joined by BLM 5410 coming down along the left side. Paved highway 191 is dark gray line running along the right side. Bright green swaths mark the valleys of the New Fork River along the top and the Green River in the upper left corner. Arid sagebrush and grasslands are shades of reddish brown to blue-gray; barren badlands are nearly white. Scale varies in this perspective image. Foreground is 9 miles across.
